Donna Kelly RPhS, RVT, RDMS

Donna has worked in the field of ultrasound for more than 25 years and is considered a subject matter expert in the field of venous ultrasound. Her wide range of extensive experience with many aspects of venous ultrasound offers her a unique perspective, which can benefit many aspects of a venous practice.
· 25+ years as a full-time scanning sonographer allows for the understanding of the challenges of ultrasound for venous disease.
· 10+ years as a vascular lab technical director allows for the understanding of the importance of accuracy and efficiency while performing any testing performed in the vascular lab.
· Leading the process for obtaining initial IAC vein center accreditation for five vein centers and maintaining those accreditations through QA and the reaccreditation process, coupled with her experience as a site visitor and application reviewer for the IAC vein center division, allows Donna to expertly support practices who are in the process of obtaining and maintaining their accreditation.
· Ongoing participation as a committee member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society (AVLS) ultrasound committee and acting as co-chair and a subject matter expert for the Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS exam allows Donna to continuously learn from the leaders in the field and share that knowledge via lectures, hands-on training, and publications.
