Donna Kelly, RPhS, RVT, RDMS

Donna has worked in the field for more than 25 years. Twenty of those years have been dedicated solely to vascular ultrasound. She spent most of her career working at Mass General Vein care, the last five of which she was technical director. She is now the technical director at Middlesex Surgical Associates in Winchester MA.

 

Donna is passionate about ultrasound for venous diseases including the lower extremities and pelvis. She is currently on the leadership team and ultrasound committee for the American Vein and Lymphatic Society. She has enjoyed co-chairing the ultrasound program for the 2020 and 2021 AVLS Congress and is thrilled to have the opportunity to do it again for the 2024 Congress.

Donna lectures locally in her hometown of Boston, MA, and at national meetings such as the Society for Vascular Ultrasound and AVLS. She enjoys teaching whether it is in her vascular lab, via a lecture at a conference or during a hands-on ultrasound course.

​

Donna has been the lead author of two publications and a contributing author of a third.  She is also a contributing author to a book titled Inside Ultrasound Venous Reference Guide. She has extensive experience with the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission Vein Center accreditation and has successfully guided multiple vein centers through the application process for the vein center accreditation. She currently is a subject matter expert for the registered phlebology sonographer exam (RPhS).
